Math Area

In the Math Area, we lay a strong foundation for mathematical thinking using hands-on, engaging, and age-appropriate methods inspired by Montessori principles. This approach helps children build a deep understanding of math concepts through exploration, discovery, and repetition.

Number Sense:
Understanding numbers, counting, and developing a strong sense of quantity
Operations:
Introduction to basic addition, subtraction, and problem-solving in a playful, tangible way
Geometry:
Exploring shapes, patterns, and spatial relationships using Montessori tools and materials
Measurement:
Learning about length, weight, and volume using real-life, practical activities
Introduction to Fractions:
Using visual and tactile aids to grasp the concept of parts and wholes
Sequencing and Logical Thinking:
Developing critical thinking through patterns, series, and puzzles

Our Math Area combines structure and creativity, ensuring that children see math not just as numbers, but as an exciting tool to explore and understand the world around them.

To track and enhance development, we design customized learning books for each child. These books contain a mix of activities, exercises, and visual aids tailored to the child’s progress and interests. Not only do they reinforce the concepts taught in class, but they also give parents a clear view of their child’s growth and achievements.
